The bare midriff is making a comeback, but a little more cover up. S/S 11 runways were full of bare midriffs ranging from fully exposed stomachs to a tiny bit of skin.

Definitely is a wild trend that inspires us to step out of our comfort zone. But it's not about muffin tops. It's not about overly revealing. It's all about showing just a hint of skin. the right hint of skin to keeping the look classy and subtle. let the rest for the imagination. 

But ladies beware: there is a fine line here between stylish and trashy, so the perfect way to wear this trend is a cropped top with a high-waisted skirt or pants, showing off the very top of your abs while keeping the rest of your stomach under wraps.

Definitivamente es una tendencia atrevida que nos hace ir un poco mas allá de lo normal y acostumbrado. Pero no se trata de mostrar el abdomen bajo y tampoco se trata de ser demasiado revelador. Se trata de mostrar solo un poco de piel. La medida exacta para mantener el look elegante y sutil. Dejen el resto a la imaginación.

Pero hay que tener mucho cuidado con esta tendencia porque hay un hilo muy delgado entre verse estiloso y ordinario; asi que la mejor manera de llevar esta tendencia es una blusa corta con pantalones o faldas de tiro alto, mostrando la parte superior de los abdominales y manteniendo el resto del abdomen en secreto.

But it's not only a spring campaign, is a whole marketing strategy called DIY PROYECT where the people can submit an image of themself in a rag & bone look as the models did and you can win a $1000 rag-bone.com gift certificate.

And the most exciting part is where you can win a tickets to the Rag & Bone Fall 2011 Fashion Show in New York. What do you have to do? just go and post the campaign flyers all around you city and send them pictures. Really fun & brilliant don't you think?

Me encanta la idea de RAG & BONE para su campaña de la primavera 2011. Ellos escogieron a las modelos Abbey Lee Kershaw, Edita Vilkeviciute, Sasha Pivovarova, and Lily Aldridge para que se tomaran sus propias fotos siendo las modelos y fotógrafas al mismo tiempo en un estilo muy natural.

Pero esto no es solo una campaña sino que es toda una estrategia de mercadeo llamada DIY PROYECT donde las personas pueden subir a Internet sus propias fotos con vestuario de Rag & Bone como lo hicieron las modelos y se pueden ganar $1000 en un bono de la marca.

Y la parte mas emocionante para mi es que también se pueden ganar entradas para el Fashion Show de Rag & Bone en New York. ¿Que tienen que hacer?
